Embarking on a cruise with Royal Caribbean is always an adventure, but staying in a Suite Class stateroom elevates the experience to a new level of luxury and personalized service. Whether you’re a seasoned cruiser or setting sail for the first time, here’s a glimpse into the exceptional world of Suite Class on Royal Caribbean and the benefits that come with it.

I was fortunate enough to stay in a 2 Bedroom Grand Suite on the Allure of the Seas during a recent cruise to the Bahamas, and I will admit that it may be hard to go back to my regular Ocean View Balcony stateroom after the experience! From the moment you arrive at the terminal, you immediately get the VIP treatment with expedited check-in and boarding, so you can start your vacation without delay.

We also didn’t have to worry about a Port Arrival Time as Suite guests can board at any time throughout the day. We were one of the first to arrive at the terminal and only waited about ten minutes before we were called to board the ship. We were on board the ship by 10:20am, by far the earliest I have ever been able to board a cruise!

The same VIP treatment continues at disembarkation, with priority departure ensuring a smooth and stress-free end to your cruise. When it was time for us to disembark at the end of the cruise we had nothing to rush or stress about. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in Coastal Kitchen, the Suite exclusive restaurant, and when we were ready to go the Suite Concierge took us to the elevator right outside the lounge, put in her special key card, and called us to an exclusive elevator that took us right down to the disembarkation area. We then were led to the front of the line to scan our key cards and we were off the ship in less than five minutes. I definitely could feel the envious stares from the other passengers waiting in line.

As amazing as just these perks are, it is only the beginning! There are many more perks that make staying in a Suite worth the extra cost. The most obvious one being that your stateroom is a lot more spacious and luxurious than the standard staterooms. Our Two Bedroom Grand Suite had two full bathrooms (one with a jetted tub), a large living room with a couch and two chairs,, and a huge balcony featuring a dining table and our own private hot tub. That was all in addition to the two bedrooms, each with a king bed (that can also be separated into two twins).

We had four people staying in our Suite, but this particular room category can sleep up to 6 or 8 depending. There are a variety of stateroom categories in the Suite category that range in size and how many guests they can accommodate. Some of the upper tier staterooms, called the Star Class, also come with a Royal Genie service, which is essentially a butler who is there to take care of every whim and wish you have.

Staterooms are split into two tiers – Sky Class and Star Class – but both come with most of the same VIP perks, including:

  • Priority Boarding and Disembarkation.
  • Complimentary Voom internet for one device per guest in the stateroom.
  • Luxury toiletries and upgraded bedding in your stateroom.
  • Nespresso coffee maker in your stateroom.
  • Priority reservations at the specialty restaurants.
  • Priority seating at most shows.
  • Access to a Concierge to help you make any arrangements.
  • Access to the Suite Lounge which offers complimentary refreshments throughout the day, and 3 hour open bar for wine and beer between 5pm and 8pm nightly.
  • Access to Coastal Kitchen, which is attached to the Suite Lounge, and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
  • Access to The Grove, a Suite guest exclusive sundeck with lounge chairs, a pool, and bar

For travelers who seek the pinnacle of comfort and luxury while exploring the world, Suite Class on Royal Caribbean is an investment in an unforgettable cruise vacation. Whether you’re lounging on your private balcony, dining at Coastal Kitchen, or enjoying the personalized service of the Royal Genie, every aspect of the Suite Class experience is designed to make your journey extraordinary.

So next time you book a Royal Caribbean cruise, consider upgrading to Suite Class—because once you’ve experienced the suite life, there’s no going back. I know I am definitely hooked and you will be seeing back in the Suite Lounge on a Royal Caribbean cruise in the near future.
