Wonder of the Seas isn’t just a cruise ship – it’s a floating destination. As one of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class Ships, it offers an unmatched blend of thrill, relaxation, world-class dining, and show-stopping entertainment. With so much to see and do, there is definitely something for everyone in your traveling party.

I recently had the amazing opportunity of sailing on the Wonder of the Seas. I’ve narrowed down my three absolute must-do’s when you are onboard. These are the experiences that truly elevated my sailing from just a cruise to an unforgettable experience. If you’re planning a Wonder of the Seas sailing, these are my recommendations of things you won’t want to miss. Have fun with the included onboard experiences, such as the flowrider, a surfing simulator, the rock climbing wall, and the 10-story high zipline. Be sure to enjoy the shows, including the ice skating show (yes, there is an ice skating rink on the ship), the main theater production, “Voices,” and the all-female high-diving show, “inTENse,” in the Aquatheater. My big must-do with the onboard experiences is tackling the slides! The Perfect Storm waterslide is a twisting turning adventure and should be a definite on your list. Then, if you are brave enough, you need to tackle the Ultimate Abyss! The dry slide is for your speed junkies and thrill seekers, plunging riders down from Deck 16 to Deck 6. Are you brave enough to try it?

One of the many perks of cruising is the included meals on the ship. I highly recommend stepping away from the Windjammer buffet and the main dining room for some of your meals. I suggest trying Sorrento’s Pizza for lunch or dinner. They offer classic and specialty pizzas. El Loco Fresh, another option for lunch or dinner, serves up some great Mexican food. The DogHouse offers hot dogs and even makes some with a creative twist. Cafe Promenade is open 24hours a day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Park Cafe serves salads, quick bites, and more for breakfast and lunch. Be sure to try their legendary Royal Kummelweck roast beef sandwich! Make sure you save room for some ice cream from Sprinkles. My list of included restaurants doesn’t even cover all of them! If you are staying in a suite, Coastal Kitchen is a must! When you go there at the start of your trip, make sure to ask when they are serving Surf and Turf for dinner. You don’t want to miss that!

My last must-do is to explore the different neighborhoods on the Wonder of the Seas. Central Park is a beautiful open air area that has thousands of live plants, specialty dining and the Rising Tide Bar. The Boardwalk is a fun carnival area that has a carousel, arcade and the AquaTheater. Royal Promenade features the shops, cafes, and bars. If you are looking for the nightlife, casino, and shows, you should head to the Entertainment Place. Vitality Spa and Fitness is dedicated to relaxation and fitness. It features a full-service spa, gym, and the Vitality Cafe. The Youth Zone is where your kids are going to want to hang out and enjoy organized programs. If you are a sunseeker, you will want to spend time at the Pool and Sports Zone. It’s got pools, hot tubs, an adult-only section, the flowrider, and zip line.

Just from my must-dos, you can see how many different things there are to eat, do and experience on the Wonder of the Seas. If you are looking for a vacation with things to entertain your entire family, you definitely can’t go wrong with a cruise on the Wonder of the Seas.
