Disney designed Castaway Cay with a Shipwreck theme to resemble a castaway community. Pirates and shipwreck themes can be spotted throughout the island, so be sure to explore and keep an eye out for our favorite Pirate Captain Jack Sparrow.
There is a post office on the island! Here you can send a postcard to your friends and family back home! Each postcard will feature a special Castaway Cay stamp – a unique and fun souvenir for family and friends. Make sure you bring cash because your Key to the World card does not work here. Pro Tip: Send one to yourself for a fun memory!
You can run/walk a 5K in the morning for FREE! Castaway Cay 5k is a 3.1-mile race around the island. It’s free and open to everyone ages ten and older. If you’re not a runner, no worries, you are welcome to walk. After completing the race, participants receive a medal! Merchandise is available for purchase. Head to Serenity Bay for some adult time. Castaway Cay’s Serenity Bay is a special place for adults over 18.
