As if a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort isn’t exciting enough, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is the cherry on top of your stay. It’s a tasty way to usher in fall at Walt Disney World.

This year’s Festival runs from August 29 – November 23.  While most events are included with EPCOT park admission, you will need to pay for your sips and savors.  Activate a mini Festival-themed gift Disney Gift Card and wear it around your wrist for easy payment access.

The Global Marketplace, which spans six continents, includes African, American, Asian, Bakery, British, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Moroccan, Norwegian, Polynesian, Seafood, and Sushi.  You’ll find beers, wines, and ciders paired with savory and sweet small plate options.

Here are five things to try at this year’s Festival.

  1. Emile’s Fromage Montage offers the opportunity to sample cheeses presented in inventive ways throughout the Festival.
  2. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak is a scavenger hunt for all ages to enjoy.
  3. Check out the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Nightly concerts are performed by renowned bands and singers in the America Gardens Theater.
  4. Try anything from Ireland! In previous years, we’ve enjoyed Fisherman’s Seafood Pie and Warm Chocolate Pudding Cake paired with a Guiness Baileys Shake.
  5. Commemorative merchandise makes for great souvenirs. Visit Port of Entry for select Festival merchandise.

Pick up your complimentary Festival passport to guide you through each of the marketplaces and activities.  Cheers!
