I love cruising!  I can talk cruises all day, every day!  I have been on 4 different cruise lines & Royal Caribbean is by far my favorite!  Out of the 24 cruises I’ve been on, 17 of them have been Royal Caribbean.  I’ve sailed on 11 Royal ships, 3 of them multiple times.  Most recently, I’ve sailed on the newest ship in the fleet, Utopia of the Seas.  So, why do I love Royal Caribbean so much?  I’m glad you asked!

  1. The nicest ships on the high seas. Now, this is matter of opinion, of course, but Royal’s ships are all so gorgeous & classy.  The crew is constantly doing maintenance; painting, varnishing, repairing things all the time, in an effort to keep each ship in tip-top shape.
  2. Very family-friendly. There is something for everybody on a Royal Caribbean cruise!  From Adventure Ocean, the kids club for ages 3-11, to the Teen Club, to adult-only activities & an area for adults-only.  There are pool areas just for kids; Splash-away Bay & H2O Zone, there are water slides, multiple pools, a rock wall on every ship, Flowrider on every ship from the Voyager Class & up.  The Oasis Class has a Boardwalk complete with a carousel, Central Park, a zip-line, & the Ultimate Abyss; a 9 story high dry slide!
  3. Endless food options. There is a Windjammer buffet on every Royal Caribbean ship, as well as Sorrento’s Pizzeria.  Each ship also has a 3-floor main dining room, as well as specialty dining.  You cannot go hungry on a cruise.  There is always something available, no matter what time of day.  Want to try multiple entrees at dinner?  Go for it!  You can order as much as you want!
  4. Friendliest staff at sea. The crew members are always so helpful and attentive to your needs.   Anything your heart desires, they can help you with.  They will make sure your vacation is top notch.  From keeping the ship spotless 24/7, to granting your request for extra towels, or helping you get your mobile device connected to WiFi, they are the most kind & helpful crew on the high seas.
  5. Top-notch private island. Sure, all cruise lines have a private island.  But they don’t all have Coco Cay.  Coco Cay is located in the Berry Island chain of the Bahamas.  It is a small island, with big thrills!  It was recently renovated to become Perfect Day at Coco Cay, boasting the largest fresh water pool in the Caribbean, as well as the tallest water slide in the northern hemisphere.  If you would rather chill, than thrill, there are plenty of beaches to do just that, or you can even lounge around the pool or in the pool on the sundeck.

There really is something for everyone on a Royal Caribbean cruise.  I have only covered a portion of what there is to offer.
