I had the pleasure of cruising on Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Norwegian Viva in December. The ship was beautiful and full of extensive options for dining and entertainment.
Here are five of my must-do items when sailing onboard the Norwegian Viva.
- Dine at Indulge Food Hall: The Indulge Food Hall is new to Norwegian’s Prima class of ships, which the Viva belongs to and is included in the complimentary dining. Here you can dine around the world with cuisine from India to Italy to Latin America and more and there are options for booth indoor and outdoor dining. I enjoyed a delicious pasta dish and believe a meal here is a must-do for any foodies who are cruising on the Viva!
- Visit the Galaxy Pavilion: With everything from an escape room to racing simulators and Top Golf, the Galaxy Pavilion is a high-tech wonderland for the entire family.
- Watch Beetlejuice the Musical: Adapted from the classic film, this show is a must-see for adult fans of musical theater. I was able to watch this show onboard my cruise, and it is highly entertaining and a must-see production for adults who are cruising on the Viva.
- Have a drink at the Metropolitan Bar: The Metropolitan Bar is a stunning space onboard the Norwegian Viva, complete with an interactive wall. Here you can enjoy a sustainable craft cocktail, a biodynamic wine, or a classic cocktail for the perfect start or end to your evening.
- Play at The Stadium: Here you can enjoy games like tabletop shuffleboard, pickle ball, subsoccer, and beer pong and check out a few twists on classic games like ping pong and foosball.
I had a wonderful time onboard the Norwegian Viva and would recommend it as an excellent choice for cruisers of all ages!
